The Dixon Transition Society provides shelter, guidance and hope to women and children fleeing violence.
Through NPB, our nonprofit branding program, which offers branding services to qualifying nonprofits at a 20-50% discount, we developed a rebranding program for DTS that included: brand strategy, naming, visual identity/logo, website and collateral (stationery and brochure) design.
Rebranded and revitalized, the Dixon Transition Society is very excited to reach out to and continue their excellent work in the community.
The services they provide including: expert counselling, transition and second stage housing programs, and resources to help empower victimized families are dependent on Government grants, the United Way and personal donations.
Donations are welcome year round but especially around holidays when struggling families are particularly vulnerable. Here is a sampling of how donations can help:
- $25 provides shelter for two children and their mother for one night
- $50 provides games and craft supplies for four children
- $75 provides educational books and tapes for five children
- $100 provides counseling services so a child and a mother can begin to sleep without nightmares
- $200 provides a mother and her family with a basket of groceries
- $500 provides specialized care and lodging for a mother and two children for three weeks
- $1,000 provides a mother and her children with supportive counselling for one month
